20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Puma in snow
I was in Chile on a puma tour. Even though we were in October, there was a snow storm overnight. The next day we were lucky to see a puma walking in the snow. Very special, especially as the snow melted a few hours later.
