I took this picture while at the Puerto Rican Parade in New York at Spanish Harlem. The day and area was full of life, Spanish music playing everywhere. Traveling from California to New York to be part of this annual tradition was something spectacular to experience. Especially, the large Puerto Rican population in New York and the contributions that have done to the city. In the background, you can see the mural that says "Oye como Va" translation 'Hey Hows it Going' and someone playing the drums. I felt it depicted the scene that day perfectly.
