Purple Cattails
Purple cat tails, growing behind a building just outside the national park of the Smokey mountains. Celosia argentea. Sadly this is considered an invasive species if I am not mistaken, albeit quite colorful and pretty to look at. This was planted intentionally in a garden of a restaurant that offered farm to table vegetables and allowed you to walk through and enjoy their garden.
