PURPLE HERON CATCH FROG
Purple Herons are identified by their long legs, long and thin flexible necks and pointed spear-like bills. They are found in all wetlands of India. Usually Purple Herons are fond of snakes but this one of the picture has caught hold of a frog which is not very frequently seen. This picture has been taken in Monglajodi, an extension of the lake Chilika in Orissa.
