A rare hummingbird visited my garden for a few days. I had never seen a purple and magenta gorget before. I spent as much time as possible focusing on this beautiful bird. This image shows the bird hovering just before it feeds on a salvia flower. I think this bird is an Anna's or a hybrid. One of my images entered in this contest shows the colorful flowers in the garden that attracted the bird.
