14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
Quantuck Canal, using intentional camera movement.
This is a canal between Westhampton Beach and Dune Road on the eastern end of Long Island. The photo was taken at sunset, facing west. I set my camera to a slow shutter speed and intentionally moved it upward vertically.
