This photo represents to me the rawness that can be captured when traveling. So often we put on a smile for foreigners, and many people did for me, but I somehow was able to gain a glimpse of the intense nature of living in the wilderness of the Lares valley through this child's eyes, a life lived in the raw elements of nature.
