20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Quiet Corner.
An old building (1940s), of shops around an inner plaza - has become in the last decade a hot cultural and entertainment complex. The plaza, which serves as a parking lot every day, produces hip-hop, jazz and rock'n'roll parties and shows at night.
