I took this picture on my first visit to the Grand Canyon. I got up early to hike before the sun got too hot and before the main rush of visitors. I was so anxious to see the canyon, that I stopped at a pullout and ran to the overlook. I was awestruck at the view and just sat in silence at the edge of the canyon.
