Amboseli and Kenya suffered a terrible drought in 2022 and 2023. Amboseli was especially affected and the National Park was full of dead animals everywhere. Big populations of grass eaters were affected and their number reduced drastically. I went back to Amboseli at the beginning of the rainy season and it was such a happiness to see the green grass and the big herds of elephants grazing peacefully.
