19th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Rain is coming from the east
I live in an area of Kinshasa that is surrounded by the Congo River on three sides. In this photo I was looking east. The mountains and airport are invisible due to the rain that is moving westward--in my direction.
