"Rain, we need rain"

A multi-year draught has depleted the water reserves of the Himba communities in the Namibian border areas with Angola. It's the young generation's duty to provide the kettle - a Himba family's biggest wealth - with water. They have to move long distances or dig deeper in parched river beds. But not only the ongoing climate change contributes to this misery, also large herds and overgrazing are still the norm.
