Rainbow Droplets for Red-Winged Blackbird
During the lockdown I have spent more time in my backyard than ever before. I set up my feeders and planted bird and butterfly friendly plants and have attracted many wonderful birds. Most of the birds that come to my yard are smaller such as Warblers, Painted Buntings and local birds like this male Red-Winged Blackbird. They usually arrive seasonally in a flock and I rarely receive females. I had Sparrows and Munias gleefully bathing when suddenly this Red-Winged Blackbird decided that it would be a good time to take a bath also, splashing a lot of water out of the bird bath.
