20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Rainbow Forest
Heavy winds blew water from a nearby reservoir through the air. The setting sun added flair to the scene as rays passed through the mist and created an epic scene and display of light. The water molecules split in the air creating a unique type of rainbow that I had never seen before.
