A very rewarding hike through the lava field brought me to the top of Brennisteinsalda summit, where I could admire epic views of Blahnukur. The summits are part of the Landmannalaugar range, located in the rugged Icelandic Highlands. It is a breathtaking geothermal oasis known for its striking multicolored Rhyolite Mountains, hot springs, and hiking trails.
