Rainbow through the clouds at the top of Haleakala volcano at Haleakala National Park

I had gone up to the top of Haleakala in Maui for the first time ever, and at first I was disappointed because the visibility was next to zero. We we’re standing looking down at one of the valleys when Maui decided to clear up just for a second and give us one of its classic rainbows. Haleakala is a very surreal place to be; it felt like looking at a rainbow on Mars.
