Rainclouds lifting in Kalalau Valley
The photo was taken from the Kalalau outlook in Koke’e State Park on the island of Kaua’i in the State of Hawaii. From here you can look down through Kalalau Valley to the Nā Pali Coast at the Northwest of the island. The coast is only accessible by boat or after a challenging hike of several hours in very steep terrain. My husband and I live on the other side of the island, yet we love to come to this beautiful park to hike here. It was a rainy day though and there was no opportunity for hiking, so we wanted to at least enjoy the nature.
