It was freezing cold, the continental wind having picked up in mid November, as I walked through the streets of Paris in search of nothing in particular. My only companion in the City of Lights was my camera at the time. It had started to drizzle, adding to my general misery, but I turned the corner and noticed this bright pedestrian zone. At least I wasn't the only one out on a midnight stroll.
