Rare view from the bus on the north side of Rio de Janeiro

On the other side of Mangueira (Mango Tree) Hill, where the famous Mangueira Samba School is located, there is a rare empty space in which we see a group of trees on a hillock. Between the two hills there is a large avenue that unfolds all along the Central railroad. People have cut off some branches of those trees, and the intact trees remain as if the ones who done the job have decided to allow for that little grove to disturb the artificial environment set up by the human beings.
