Rasmela is the main festival of Manipuri. It is also known as rasila. Hindu festivals were celebrated in different places. The festival is celebrated on the Purnima Tithi of Kartik-Agrayan month at Kamlganj in Moulvibazar district, Dobla Char in Sundavan and Kuakata beach. The main aspect of Rasmela is the shepherd dance of children and the dance of youth in the traditional Manipuri costume. Krishna-Abshar, Radha-Gopi Absar, raga talk etc. are performed through Manipuri music and dance.
