The light comes through Arch Rock on Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur only a couple of weeks a year at sunset. I'd tried for several years to get to photograph this stunning phenomenon, but kept failing to make it there for various reasons (one year it was raining when we planned to go, the next year we had car trouble, and the next year it was overcast and drizzling). So I was overjoyed when we (my husband and I) finally made it there! And it did not disappoint!!
