This image was created using photosensitive chemistry and found objects on paper to create photograms. It is an early style of photography that is inspired by woman alternative photographer Anna Atkins. In this piece I used my actual hands and found natural objects on paper exposed in the sun for a period of time. "Reaching" is symbolic of how gentle our environmental system can be and that this balance resides in the hands of man.
