Reaching The Top

Having been in my rental car for a week, stealing away on the sides of roads at night only to adventure all day...I required a bit of respite in Bergen. I had been before with my parents but for mere hours only. Naturally on a rest day the first thing I wanted to do was climb the nearest mountain. I chose one that would allow me some wonderful photos, as there were seven in the region. It was quite lovely until I passed above the tree line, where the winds threatened to knock me over. No matter the four or five layers I wore, the wind cut through me but I endured for the photography and video, and to watch the sun dip behind the mountains in the distance. I felt strong, wild, and alive. If only I didn't have to leave.
