Donning of Personal Protective Equipment became an integral part of practising medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic. While putting on the protective gear at the beginning of a shift, I wondered how the gladiators in the past must have felt at the beginning of a fight. The determination to fight against COVID-19 is evident in the eyes of this medic.
