I caught this poignant moment of my daughter looking out of our bedroom window admiring an amazing sunset in July 2018. I would do the same thing from my parents bedroom so it was a touching and personal moment for me that I had to photograph. When I saw her standing there, I ran downstairs, grabbed my camera and as a I walked back up I stopped on the stairs so that I didn't disturb her. In an era where everything is so fast-paced and digital devices normally capture our attention, it's a reminder that nothing trumps the beauty of our planet.
