I'm Here

"FEEDTOGRAPHY" Photography is an exchange of energy and when I capture portraits of the Homeless a vulnerable Population, I cannot simply ask for photos without giving something back in return. I call this my "Feedtography". I go into the dark and dingy streets of Tucson and bring meals to those who are hungry. Feed them, connect with them, ask them their names and get their stories. The reward is not the Photos, the reward is the immense gratitude I receive for noticing these lost, but not forgotten individuals. For taking a moment to care and Spotlight them. For those who do not want pictures, I still feed them because I do not hold a Meal as a punishment or a Reward. It's simply a way in the door to their world, a moment to recognize that there are others out there that are suffering just a little bit more and need some attention and love. Their story leaps out of their eyes and into my lens, truly...little needs to be said.
