Red Divide
Salt ponds along the San Francisco Bay form graphic bands of white and deep red, separated by a thin industrial levee. A lone transmission tower stands in the brine, casting long diagonal shadows that cut across the landscape. Seen from above, the scene becomes a study in color, geometry, and the imprint of industry on a natural landscape.
