This was my first trip to Alaska and I planned to do a week in the Denali backcountry. After three days of seeing only ground squirrels and ptarmigans, this fox was the first "large" wildlife I saw. I was so stoked to see the fox mother and her cub running along a ridge. They both stopped in exactly the same spot, just for a second, and then moved along. I was able to photograph both the mother and her cub while they were stopped.
