I spent a winter in the Alaska range taking of a remote lodge. There was no road access. We were off the grid and a ski plane would bring us food and fuel every 2 weeks or so. We were surrounded by wilderness. Especially the foxes showed no fear around us. There were also wolves, dall sheep, moose, and owls in our front yard.
