Red spider lilies dancing in the rain

We are sometimes surprised by a shower while walking the 2 miles in the park behind our home. On this September day, we were suddenly surrounded by fat raindrops bouncing from previous puddles. The rain combined with the light provided a lively picture of the radiant spider lilies which bloom only a short time before retreating for the winter.
