Majestic red-tailed hawk soaring through the treetops on a cold winter day. The crows near our home usually alert us when birds of prey are nearby. I was working from home one day when I heard the calls from the crows loud and clear. Outside my window, perched in a tall oak tree, was this large red-tailed hawk. I kept watching as it took off through the trees with its magnificent wing span.
