A glimpse into the realities of many in the United States as we try to do our best to wade through the turbulence of 2020. Taken in front of the Supreme Court, onlookers were viscerally confronted with this stark imagery. Red, white, and blue has represented the core ideology that is American patriotism, yet, the symbolism of red, white and blue in this moment was paradoxical. I found it important to document the realities of what life is like during this time, not only for our own education, but for future generations to reflect upon.
