14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Red, White and Blue Sailing on a New England Summer Afternoon.
Sailing is one of the oldest forms of transportation and travel. The ocean provides such a sense of old world adventure and unpredictable thrill. Under the wind's power and ever changing New England weather I was able to capture some of my favorite shades of blue while encompassing the spirit of America.
