Red-winged blackbird with an insect in flight

Red-winged door dash On our longer, three-mile morning dog walks, we loop through a business park with a pond where we often see various waterfowl. Today, there weren’t any particularly exciting birds to photograph. Over time, the more aggressive Red-winged Blackbirds have gradually taken over the pond. They’ve even dive-bombed my wife to chase her away, but when they dive at me, I seem to appear more intimidating probably because of the big camera I’m carrying.
