22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
REDDISH EGRET HUNTING
I never saw so many reddish egrets as I did this year on Merritt Island. They are usually few and very far between. I photographed more in 3 days than in the past 20 years. Epic!
