While helping my mother clean out her house, I found a box of slides I had taken in high school. This particular picture was taken in Segovia, Spain during a family vacation. I laid on the floor of my mother's sunroom, holding each slide to the sky and reminiscing. My father is no longer with us, a loss I grieve differently now, as I have a daughter of my own and I wish she could've known her grandfather.
