Berat, Albania - also known as "The City of 1,000 windows." This old town in Albania is a travelers dream...it's filled with narrow alleys, castles, delicious food, and never ending coffee shops. The views at daylight are simply unforgettable- you're surrounded by windows and beautiful mountains. However, I knew the darkness would provide a unique perspective of this old city. As the sun set, the windows lit up with different shades of blue, yellow, white, and green. The blue tint is from a nearby bridge that glows neon blue at night. Thanks for the memories, Albania!
