If you haven’t been to Mary’s Gone Wild, it is definitely worth a trip to Mary Paulson’s compound in Supply, North Carolina. She is a colorful artist and collector who has a variety of collections on her property. From Coke products to Marilyn Monroe, rusted wheels to creepy dolls, Betty collects a wide variety of items and uses many to create fabulous art pieces and even buildings on site. This shot was captured looking into her shed that contained her Betty Boop, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean collections, I was struck by how interesting the view was from the outside with the reflections of the sheds, sky, trees and the highlight of sun on the railing behind me.
