I live in the suburbs and went to a more urban area to practice "street photography." I took a detour into Mears Park, an urban park revitalized to attract residents living in downtown, as well as visitors like me! Designers of this park ensured plenty of shade trees were planted. Its main feature is the landscaped recirculating stream, with the perimeter adorned with flowers planted by residents living in nearby apartments. Thanks to the angle of the sun, I was able to capture not only the trees reflected in the water but also the apartment building across the street from the park.
