Refugee under the bridge
In Vintimiglia, Italian city near the French border, a refugee is resting in the shade of a bridge, looking forward to cross illegally the border as hundreds of his companions in misfortune. I was questioned by the metaphoric aspect of this image calling upon the search for a shelter under the symbol of the distance between life and death.
