Reindeer enjoying its lunch in Tromso region, Northern Norway

As a part of the Photography Tours that I organise In Northern Norway we visit Sami people (also known as Lapps or Lapplanders, indigenous people of far northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and the Murmansk Oblast of Russia). Their best-known means of livelihood is semi-nomadic reindeer herding. Currently, about 10% of the Sami are connected to reindeer herding, providing them with meat, fur, and transportation.
