16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Remedios brothers
I took a photograph of these 2 brothers at their request in Remedios town while I was travelling around Cuba. I was immediately drawn to their strength of character and fearlessness at looking directly at the camera, given I had never met them previously and it was not a staged photo shoot.
