Resting in the cool weather
It’s not a weasel, nor is it a ferret: it’s rare, the only species in the genus Eira, what I have seen in front of me is something you can’t usually see, unless you’re in South America. The Tayra is this cute mustelidae found at 220km from São Paolo in Brazil, in between in the mountains, where it surely was looking for food without minding my lens. Rodents and other small mammals, lizards and invertebrates, or even fruit and honey: what was the small omnivore looking for?
