At the end of a nearly 2 week trip around Iceland, my sister and I were exploring Reykjavik and waiting for a new friend to meet us when the street sign and buildings struck me. We'd been fascinated with the language throughout our trip, and the buildings really gave a feeling of warmth and comfort. A very European feel after traveling around a country that, at times, felt as though we were on another planet.
