Rhode Island sunset

Golden hour descends on Trustom Pond, South Kingstown, Rhode Island. It is one of the nine coastal lagoons stretching across Rhode Island’s southern coast. This pond is cut off from the ocean by a barrier beach, making it an ideal place for seabirds and other waterfowl to take refuge. Over 300 species of birds can be found within the greater wildlife refuge established here.
