This is the story of one man's attempt to preserve artifacts of life in the face of a slew of challenges, ranging from biological extinction to legislative battles unmoved by environmental obliteration. Richard Oyula has been collecting artifacts of animals and cultural relics going extinct during his lifetime in the dwindling biodiversity of the Lake Kanyaboli National Reserve in western Kenya.
