The USS North Carolina battleship, also known as BB-55, is moored across the river from downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. A restored World War II battleship, it is now a National Historic Landmark was the first vessel of its type built for the US Navy. Now a memorial and museum, the battleship host many events throughout the year. Standing in just the right spot to capture the rippling reflection of the historic battleship’s superstructure.
