My friends and I were tired of the constant drizzle coming down on us around Anchorage, so we decided to go backpacking anyway. We decided to ascend Crow Pass (in Alaska's Chugach State Park), and camp past Raven Glacier for the night. While it was cloudy in the pass on our arrival, the clouds quickly parted to reveal a gorgeous lake, cabin, and mountain peaks all around us. We learned that when the clouds get you down, just rise above them.
