Normally very methodical and businesslike, these Risso's were in a hurry and having fun. To catch three of them porpoising out of the water like this was a thrill. We were on our post-quarantine shake-out cruise on Monterey Bay and it seemed like the dolphins were happy to see us! We were certainly glad to see them!
