For my birthday I took myself on a roadtrip through my 50th state - New Mexico. On my drive out of my first stop, Las Cruses, I took the time to photograph the what's considered the world's largest chili and the world's largest roadrunner sculptures but turning around I found this to be to be one of the most notable images of the day. Something that to me, as someone who spends a lot of time on the road, really speaks to what being on the road in the USA is.
